Trampoline parks are the definition of fun, energy, and friendship. With all the jumping action that kids can do on trampolines, they get the exercise they need.
Jumping on trampolines helps many aspects of a child’s and even an adult’s body:

Despite the numerous benefits that jumping from trampolines provide, parents should always stay informed of safety first.
According to CBS News, at least six people died due to injuries at trampoline parks. The numbers could shoot upwards if the figures included the injured for a many are usually forced to into arbitration and sign confidentiality agreements, which are agreements that stop people from speaking out, CBS News Meg Oliver reported.
Injuries from trampolines can range to minor and up to major injuries, such as broken necks, spinal cord injuries, and disabling head traumas.
According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, emergency visits have increased in the last few years. The commission said the injuries from trampoline parks risen from 2,500 in 2013 to almost 18,000 in 2017.
One of the most known deaths from trampoline parks is Ric Swezey, a world-class gymnast. The incident happened in 2017 when he, his husband Nick Scandalios, and children went to a trampoline park in Virginia for a family day. However, the fun stopped when Swezey jumped and came down wrong on his during landing, resulting in his head hitting a thinly padded wall.
Scandalios told CBS News that the “C2 vertebra cracked, constricted his airway and his blood flow, paralyzed him. He was over 90 percent brain dead.”
That’s why parents should stay vigilant in supervising children when they’re jumping about on trampolines with other children.
Children, on the other hand, must also be informed of the safety rules they must follow to avoid inflicting injuries to others or inflicting it to themselves.
